CNY Member Anne O'Dell sent the following communication:

Attached is the 2006 Horseback Rdiing Permit which you need to fill out and turn in in order to ride at Goosepond Mountain, Highland Lakes, and Minnewaska State Parks (all located in the southeastern part of NY).

Even if you think you'll never get a chance to ride in any of these parks in 2006, please do fill it out and send it in to the address on the form. For the cost of a 39-cent stamp, we show the NYS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation that there are people out there who still do want to ride these historic carriage roads.

Please pass this application on to other riding friends and ask them to do the same. Your support really helps keep our trails open to equestrian use.

(I'm ordering one for myself, Gary, my Dad, my brother, etc...Good chance I'll be in Minnewaska, but probably without a horse..Wendy)
