Right to Ride Legislation to continue to allow horses and pack stock on federal lands was introduced in 2005, in both houses of congress.
The Senate bill is S.781, while the House version in HR.586. The House bill was introduced by Rep Radanovich of California, and is co-sponsored by 34 House Members, none from New York. Senator Carpo of Idaho lead the bill in the Senate, which has 3 co-sponsors.
